Wallflower
Arrangement preview
Peter Gabriel's Wallflower, arranged for marching band by Brighton Barrineau and Trevor Schachner, 2:13 at grade 3 to 4, written as the ballad of Lugoff-Elgin High School's 2021 show. The song is a slow, serious piece about endurance, and the arrangement treats it as a chorale: long lines in the winds, a soloist on the verse, the battery held back until the final chorus. It closed a three-part show after Flight and Have You Got It in You, and it is a ballad for a program that wants weight rather than a familiar melody. Wallflower pairs with Digging in the Dirt, another Peter Gabriel arrangement in the catalog, for a show built on one songwriter. Audio of the full arrangement is on this page. Available on its own or in a build-your-own show; licensing goes through Tresona and is paid by the school.

Every arrangement here is available on its own. Combine it with arrangements from other shows, or add it to a show where we write a few new pieces for your band. Pricing depends on what you need, so we'll work it out together.
