Rocket Man
Arrangement preview
Elton John's Rocket Man, arranged for marching band by Brighton Barrineau and Trevor Schachner, 2:01 at grade 3 to 4, written as the closer of Swansea High School's 2021 space show. The piano verse moves into the front ensemble, the chorus into the full band, and the arrangement builds through two choruses to a final statement at full volume, with the opener medley's countdown gesture returning so the show ends where it began. It is a closer the stands sing, which is what a closer should be. Rocket Man ends any space show and pairs with the Space Oddity ballad and the opener medley from the same season, and with Jupiter and Mars from Pale Blue Dot. Audio of the full arrangement is on this page. Available on its own or in a build-your-own show; licensing goes through Tresona and is paid by the school.

Every arrangement here is available on its own. Combine it with arrangements from other shows, or add it to a show where we write a few new pieces for your band. Pricing depends on what you need, so we'll work it out together.
