Flight
Arrangement preview
Hans Zimmer's Flight, arranged for marching band by Brighton Barrineau and Trevor Schachner, 2:13 at grade 3 to 4, written as the opener of Lugoff-Elgin High School's 2021 show. Zimmer's film writing translates to a field naturally: a rising ostinato in the mallets and low brass, a long melody in the trumpets, and a build that gives the drill a reason to expand. This arrangement was the first movement of a three-part show with Have You Got It in You and Wallflower, and it opens any show about flight, ambition or the sky. It asks for a brass section that can sustain through a two-minute crescendo more than it asks for technique. Audio of the full arrangement is on this page. Available on its own or in a build-your-own show; licensing goes through Tresona and is paid by the school.

Every arrangement here is available on its own. Combine it with arrangements from other shows, or add it to a show where we write a few new pieces for your band. Pricing depends on what you need, so we'll work it out together.
